Trivia[]

  • The title of this episode is taken from a 1983 American comedy film directed by John Landis, starring Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd. The film tells the story of an upper-class commodities broker (Aykroyd) and a poor street hustler (Murphy) whose lives cross when they are unwittingly made the subject of an elaborate bet to test how each man will perform when their life circumstances are swapped.
  • This is one of the only episodes in the entire series in which Jaleel White speaks in his normal voice while wearing the Urkel glasses, as shown in a few scenes: When he attempts to do the "Urkel Walk" by saying "Alright. Now for the walk" and when Laura catches him acting like Steve and says afterward: "I'm busted." This episode had his characters Stefan and Steve trading personalities. The second instance is in Bugged during one of Urkel's fantasies; here, he says 'thank you' to Agnes Pritzker in his normal voice.
  • A stunt double filled in for the roles of Stefan and Steve in between scenes of two cameras. When Steve (Jaleel) was talking to Stefan, Stefan was played by a stunt double and while Stefan (Jaleel) was talking to Steve, Steve was played by a stunt double. An effect on Camera was used when Steve and Stefan were seen at the same time where interacting with each other first from the living room doorway. then they were on the sofa both talking, then off the sofa talking while the stunt was being used at the same time viewing the back of the stunt only. Jaleel had to switch in between roles of Stefan and Steve. Although its unknown who the stunt double was.
  • No stunt double was used at the time Laura confronted Steve and Stefan but the Camera effect was used instead. But Jaleel playing both Steve and Stefan at the same time were standing closer to each other as the Camera was using the effect.
