Steve Winslow (played by Jaleel White) is the alter ego of Steve Urkel who only appeared in It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Urkel.

Making his only appearance in one episode, he was smart, charming and cool. He is from an alternate dimension created by Ty using his TV remote. Carl wistfully mentions that unlike Eddie, Steve always managed his own money, finished his Christmas shopping weeks in advance and never asked his parents for cash. He is constantly annoyed by Laura Urkel, who is infatuated with Steve despite his obvious dislike for her. He was about to head out to help hand out toys for orphans.
When he saw her damaging the gingerbread house that Harriette worked so hard on, he became so angry that he ordered her out of his life. Before slamming the door in Laura's face, Steve wishes that she found out what life is like as him, so one day she'd might understand how he felt about her.

- Steve Winslow is the early prototype for Stefan Urquelle who appears later in Season 5 episode Dr. Urkel and Mr. Cool. In playing the character, Jaleel ends up coming off in an in-between gray area with his voice sounding like Steve and Stefan, as well as accurately giving the same inflections he gives doing the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog. In fact, if one listens very carefully, it IS Sonic's voice.
