Synopsis[]

Urkel's shy Aunt Oona (Donna Summer) from Altoona visits. Harriette decides to give Oona a makeover to help her come out of her shell and she takes her to a karaoke bar for a singing contest. Meanwhile, Eddie and Waldo need to win to pay for an accident caused by Waldo's snowmobile.

Plot[]

Aunt Oona comes over for a visit and is quite shy. Urkel brings her over to the Winslows and introduces them to her. She is staying in the Urkel home, while her house is being cleaned out and repaired in Altoona, PA. Noticing how shy she is and is having trouble adjusting to live in Chicago, Steve enlists the help of Harriette. She helps Oona out of her shell with a makeover, taking her shopping and bonding with her.

Meanwhile, Eddie and Waldo attempt to fix his snowmobile outside the garage. This goes awry when they test it. Waldo demands Eddie to turn off the machine. Eddie mentions that he can't because the key is stuck and he's tried to turn it off. The defective snowmobile takes both him and Waldo on a ride, crashing through the backdoor kitchen and into the living room where it stops after depositing it debris on Carl whom was coming down the stairs to find out what the fuss is about. Eddie crash lands on the sofa and Waldo is still on the snowmobile. Harriette and Aunt Oona comes downstairs to check up on them. Carl asks Eddie if he's all right and if he can still move. When he says yes and he's fine, Carl furiously orders him to run. Eddie is chased by Carl out the house and throttling him in the process. Harriette confronts Waldo whom she later chases after for causing damages to the Winslow house with his snowmobile.

Sometime later when the Winslows have blocked off the hole where the kitchen door stood, Eddie, Urkel and Waldo are having snacks of pecans, cheese puffs and grapes. He gripes about being grounded and asking for a cheese puff from Waldo. He asks Eddie how long he's grounded for and asking Steve for a grape. Urkel mentions until Eddie can pay for the damages of $850 and asking for a pecan from him. He asks Steve and Waldo how he's going to come up with that money and still have some leftover cash. Eddie then asks his friends is they have some cash on hand. Steve tells Eddie that he doesn't as he gave his money to Waldo so he can get his snowmobile professionally fixed. Waldo suggests that they take part in a karaoke contest which the prize is $1000. If Eddie wins the contest, he can use it to pay for the repairs and still have money for snacks. Eddie likes this idea.

On the night of the karaoke contest, Eddie takes the early lead when he, Waldo and Steve perform Marvin Gaye's I Heard It Through the Grapevine. More contestants try their luck, but no one are impressed. That is until the sharp dressed gentlemen appear and performs well. It appears they're about to win, but then Urkel convinces Aunt Oona to take part in the karaoke and reminding her that she has a lovely voice. After convincing her to do the contest and paying the host cash, Oona does the contest and performs Donna Summer's Last Dance. She wins and offers to give the money to Eddie, but then Carl intercepts it. Urkel and Waldo are seen laughing as the episode ends.

In the closing credits, Harriette, Carl and Laura are seen performing Aretha Franklin's "Respect".
